Prayer as defined by Webster's ~ to introduce a question, request or plea. To address God with adoration, confession, supplication or thanksgiving
We at Power House Church believe in the power of prayer, as a corprate gathering or on individual basis. Both are crucial to the stability of our walk with the Lord and release of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work that needs to be done in and through the church.
Individual:
As an individual who puts their trust in the Lord, prayer becomes a powerful tool for the believer. PHC stresses the need for personal time in prayer, worship and seeking God's face.
Jesus said, 'We live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.' That is why it is so important to know daily what God is personally telling us. It can only be known if we are hearing from Him.
Corprate:
This is why Power House Church gathers weekly in Spiritual warfare prayer for our city. We believe the strongholds of the enemy are pressured when we pray. His assignments are revealed, disrupted and broken when we gather in unity and people's lives are changed so the Spirit of God can move as we call out to God.
Yearly we fast and pray for 21 days corporately (1st thru 3rd weeks of January and September). The testimonies of answered prayer, salvation and healing during this time of seeking Gods face has blessed many people, all because of prayer.
